We work with FinanceIt, a Canadian consumer lender based in Toronto, so a project can be paid monthly instead of all at once. This page covers how that works, what it costs you to use it, and when you are better off not using it at all.

Financing is arranged through FinanceIt, a Canadian consumer lender based in Toronto. They approved Dream Spaces in August 2026.
A quote arrives as one number, and it arrives all at once. A custom closet runs from about $2,500 to $40,000 and up, and where a project lands inside that depends on how much you add past the foundation. That is the whole subject of our closet cost page.
The question usually isn’t whether the money exists. It is whether this feels like the right month to spend it. A quote sitting on the counter for six weeks is almost never a budget problem, it is a permission problem, and a payment spread over a term reads like a household line item instead of an event.
At that size the money has to come from somewhere specific, so people compare a loan against a line of credit or against waiting two more years. Financing belongs in that conversation early, because the alternative is finding out in October that the project was never going to happen this year.
FinanceIt does the underwriting, holds the loan, and collects the payments. We build cabinetry at 73 Saunders Rd in Barrie and install it. They are the lender and we are not.
One thing worth knowing, because people ask: we never see your credit report. FinanceIt tells your designer whether the application was approved and nothing else.
A designer comes to you, measures the space, and builds the quote. About 90 minutes, and it still costs nothing.
If you want to spread the cost, tell the designer. The application runs on a tablet right there and takes a few minutes.

FinanceIt funds us once the job is finished, so we are never paid ahead of the work. Your payments go to FinanceIt rather than to us.

Rates and terms depend on the plan and on your approval, so we are not going to print a number here that turns out not to be yours.

If you can pay for the project without straining the month, paying directly is cheaper, and we will say so at the table. Interest is a real cost and it does not make the closet work any better.
We would rather quote you a smaller foundation build you can pay for outright than a larger one you carry for five years. That is why every quote we write starts from the white, function-first version and prices each addition separately.
Financing makes sense when the timing is the problem. It does not fix a price that was wrong for you in the first place.

No. Plenty of customers pay directly and that is usually the cheaper route. Financing is there when spreading the cost suits your year better.
No. FinanceIt handles the application and the underwriting, and all your designer receives back is an approval status.
FinanceIt approves up to $100,000, which covers everything we make, from one reach-in closet to a full kitchen.
Any project we quote. Kitchens, pantries, laundry rooms, mudrooms, garages, Murphy beds, home offices, or a whole house at once.
After the install is finished. FinanceIt funds us on completion, so we are never paid in advance of the work being done, and your payments go to FinanceIt.
No, it varies by plan and by term. Your designer will show you the term, the annual percentage rate and the monthly payment in writing before you sign, on approved credit.
Yes. The consultation and the quote are free and carry no obligation, and financing only comes up if you raise it or ask.
